Horseback Riding and -treks in Northern Patagonia

Images, testimonials and reviews

Horseback riding involves traveling on horseback across various terrains, enjoying the freedom and connection with nature. A horseback riding trek is a longer journey, typically lasting from two days to several days, where riders explore more remote landscapes and experience the natural beauty of an area. These treks offer a deeper immersion into the environment, often combining scenic routes, wildlife encounters, and cultural experiences. Whether you're an experienced rider or a beginner, these treks provide an unforgettable adventure on horseback, connecting you to the land in a unique way.

I tried to write a neutral review, but it's just not possible. Ariane is absolutely fantastic! Being used to the quality in Europe, some activities in Argentina leave alot to be desired - with Ariane, this is the total opposite. High quality, perfect service, and a fantastic experience.

The email contact was perfect, and Ariane was super helpful. On the day of the ride, she came to pick us up at our hotel, and brought us back to her place. She then served us a coffee and even baked us a homemade cake, which we shared during great conversation. Ariane is so open, so honest, so real and SO nice, it was really refreshing!

We then went on a ride for a day, which was absolutely mind blowing. The horses were fantastic, both for the seasoned riders and first timers among us. Ariane knows the area and nature like the back of her hand, guiding us through mountains and valleys, passing through a river while on horseback, and showing us the most amazing views.

In the middle, we had a great lunch at a local family. The family was very open, and provided interesting conversations and a view of life on their farm (their ducks and geese, chickens, horses and the other animals). For us this was a real argentinean experience, this family was as argentinean as they get - grandpa running the farm, all kids living next door, the grandchildren helping grandpa on the farm.

Ariane really cares about her customers, and be assured, if you decide to let her take you on a ride, you will not regret it. Trust me.

We had an amazing day out with Ariane and Ricardo. We were a group of 3 beginners and Ricardo matched the horses perfectly to us so we all felt comfortable and by the end we were happy cantering back! The scenery during the ride was stunning.

Ariane is a wonderful host, we really enjoyed chatting about the area with her. She prepared a lovely lunch for us to have by the river which topped off one of our favourite days in Argentina.

A perfect day out and would recommend to anyone!

We wanted to go on a horse riding trip during our month in Patagonia, and we are so glad we waited and chose Ariane's tour! We could not have hoped for a better or more enjoyable experience. Ariane is a remarkable person. She is so friendly and knowledgeable and clearly loves her horses. The horses are so well trained and will suit all kinds of levels (I was a complete novice, Jessica is an intermediate level). We went through forests, rivers and hills on a fantastic excursion (and Ariane's lovely and friendly dogs trotted alongside us for the whole trip!). There was a delicious picnic at the halfway point too. This tour was personal, authentic and unforgettable. It is one of the highlights of this or any trip we have taken. Jessica has done riding trips all over the world and this is her favourite hands-down. I urge you to trust all the reviews and go on this adventure!
